My name is Kade Hagans and I am 13 years old. I live in La Crosse, Kansas and have been around racing all of my life. When I am not on the track I am helping my dad when he races.
I have six years of racing experience. I started out in Go Karts and raced in Wakeeney and in Hays for about two years. The highlight of the Kart racing was Wakeeney Rookie Track Champion 2005. In '06 and '07, I raced very little as I spent most of my time crewin' for my Dad. The 2008 year saw me racing the Martin Motorsports Jr Sprint Car. For the last two years, I have been driving a Micro-Sprint car in the restrictor class at Airport Raceway Park in Garden City, Kansas.
Kirby started racing Go-Karts in 1974 at the age of six. Many weekends were spent on the road to race at MacArthur Park, in Oklahoma City where he won a Junior I National event. He moved up to Micros in 1984. In 1988 he finished fifth at the Nationals and fourth in overall national points in NMMA. In what was his last Micro race he finished second at the Nationals at Garden City Raceway in 1989.
In 1990, he moved up to sprint cars eventually driving the Charlie Ochs owned 1X Sprint Car. In 1994 he began drving for Brett Schaffer out of Jetmore, Kansas. In 1995 he was Co-Champion of the NCRA Sprint Car Series with Larry Neighbors. In 2006-07 he drove for Bart Boyd of Wright,Kansas.
Today he divides his time between racing the 305 series in central Kansas and helping Kade get started in Micros.

On Wednesday we will fight the crowd for a parking spot, practice on Thursday and run heat races on Friday night. If all goes well, we will race in the features on Saturday. We will keep you posted.

My name is Kade Hagans and I am 13 years old. I live in La Crosse, Kansas. I have been around racing all of my life.
In 2008 I went to Dodge City Raceway Park on play day to make some laps in my Go Kart. While there, Jason and Dan Martin asked me to drive their Briggs and Stratton Mini Sprint. After one year we decided to try our luck with a 600 Micro Sprint Car. We are now in our second season and look forward to a great year.
